Welcome to SpeechWave. By downloading or using our application, these terms will automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SpeechWave, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the application.

2. Use of the Service

SpeechWave provides on-device speech-to-text transcription services.

  • License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the app for personal or professional purposes.

  • Restrictions: You may not attempt to extract the source code of the app, translate the app into other languages, or make derivative versions.

3. Privacy & Data Processing

Your privacy is a priority. As outlined in our Privacy Policy:

  • All audio processing and transcriptions are performed locally on your device using Apple’s Speech framework.

  • We do not host, store, or see your voice data or resulting text.

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your transcriptions and for maintaining the security of your device.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Billing: All purchases, including premium subscriptions, are processed through the Apple App Store.

  • Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your App Store account settings.

  • Refunds: Since payments are handled by Apple, any refund requests must be directed to Apple Support.

5. Biometric Authentication

If you choose to use Face ID or Touch ID to secure your notes, this process is handled entirely by the iOS system. SpeechWave does not access, store, or transmit your biometric data.

6. Intellectual Property

The app itself, including all trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, belongs to the developer. We are committed to ensuring the app is as useful and efficient as possible; therefore, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason.

7. Limitation of Liability

SpeechWave is provided "as is" without any warranties. While we use Apple's high-quality frameworks for transcription, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of the speech-to-text conversion. We are not liable for any loss of data or business interruptions resulting from the use or inability to use the application.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
